Shyne Reconciles Differences With Puff

After more than a decade of not speaking, former Bad Boy artist Shyne and his old label boss, Diddy, have settled their differences. Shyne revealed to MTV.com that he and Puff spoke on the phone and have squashed any animosity between them.

"As far as Puff is concerned, that's been a long time coming," Shyne shared with MTV News. Despite just recently resolving things Shyne revealed that while he was serving his near decade long jail sentence Diddy reached out to him.

"He had reached out to me twice while I was in the pen, but I just wasn't ready for it."

Shyne and Diddy's problems began in 1999, when the two, along with Jennifer Lopez were involved in a shooting at Club New York. Shyne was sentenced to nine years for assault and gun posession, while Diddy was acquitted on his charges.

These days, Shyne doesn't have any bad feelings towards the Bad Boy CEO, and has put the past behind him.

"I felt how I felt, I said what I said. In retrospect, when you looked at the way he handled it, he held it down, he wore it," Shyne said of Diddy. "He ain't had nothing to say; always had good things to say. It was always, 'Yo, whatever Shyne need, we got him.'"

As for what inspired Shyne to reach out to Diddy, he says it was a dream he had about Anthony "Wolf" Jones, a mutual friend of theirs.
