From time to time I have these conversations with like minded people and we inspire each other. This quote comes from one of those people, this time he said this on twitter and I had to retweet it. June(Dj Envy's mgr) is one of those guys that you will always walk away with something they said feeling inspired. Now I don't know if someone pissed him off or not with this tweet but it definitely hit home for me.
In whatever you're doing in life as a profession, your competition should never feel at ease in your presence or even when your name is brought up. I truly believe this... I believe in the outworking others theory that Will Smith often mentions in many interviews. Take your job serious and have fun doing it, but never allow yourself to be disposable!!!

After talking to my bro Dj Steel last night and discussing some very important issues, the only thoughts on my mind have had something to do with SUCCESS.
Pain is temporary, eventually it will subside... but to quit without the successful reward obtained, that pain will be eternal. At some point you have to quit making excuses, quit pointing the blame and choose to breath eat and sleep what it is that you want. You have to look at others that are doing the same things and out work them to get what you feel is deserved.
Everyone wants something but everyone is not willing to go hard in preseason or stay late after practice to get it!!!

Sooo, last night at WIP in NYC both Drake and Chris Brown were in the building... Chris sent a bottle of champagne to Aubrey's table as a peace offeringThe bottle was returned with a note referring to Rihanna which read: “I'm fucking the love of your life, deal with it." Chris then approached Aubrey and was subsequently hit with a bottle by someone in Aubrey's entourage. The scuffle was broken up by security and Aubrey Drake fled with his entourage.

VIDEO:: Canibus vs Dizaster.... (much confusion in my mind!!!)
I'm not even sure where to start or what to say....
CANIBUS: The day of the battle my memory and mental state wasn’t 100% due to these circumstances. I knew this so I brought my copybook to practice the 30 plus pages of infinite rhymes that I had structured for Dizaster. The stitches in the back of my head were hurting me and my shoulder was killing me but The Ripper doesn’t need medication, he controls pain with his mind. At the event I was very confident with the likes of Supernatural behind me and the guy who’s strong stomach was showing- But to protect him from any abduction I won’t reveal his name- Lets just call him Subject 10. The crowd showed me energy as well and as I delivered my first round I could see in Dizaster’s eyes he was intimidated by the mind with the infinite rhyme. Eventually the traumatic effect I suffered days before caught up to me and I could no longer be as sharp as I needed to be. The fans paid money, as did the KOTD staff, so even though there was nothing left in my mental tank, I reached for what is now the infamous notepad and decided to read my infinite rhymes. Needless to say, the results were underwhelming and it didn’t look right, but now, realizing the actions that preceded the event I’m sure you all understand.
Firstly, I want to apologize first to ‘Subject 10’ whose vehicle I abandoned when the agents were approaching me. Secondly, I’d like to apologize to Supernat because I made him come support me and stand behind me for that embarrassment. Thirdly, I’d like to apologize to all The Rippers in attendance who I let down. Finally, I’d like to apologize to Dizaster and the entire KOTD staff. I tried my best and stood there like the solider I am but there was nothing I can do. As I said in the event, I could only do what I can do. For everyone who seems to be making a mockery out of my just- Remember this; dinosaurs once ruled the planet, Rome was once a powerhouse, The Blazers drafted Greg Oden, and every dog has its day. Doubt me and you will be defeated.

In a recent conversation with my man after his return from Vegas for Mayweather's fight... he said this to me. At the time it seemed so simple as he was describing his trip. As I turned over to get up this morning I could hear him saying it once again. These words couldn't be any more clear today... as I recollect on the shift of my day previous to this one. Within twenty four hours the chain of events of the current moment can definitely affect your tomorrow. It is up to us to put our trust in God, follow our hearts and enjoy each moment the way that we want to.
If others can directly influence your actions negatively then I recommend a re-evaluation of self. We are all guilty of this periodically for various reasons from carelessness to overly passionate about appeasing others.
