THOUGHT OF THE DAY...
I'm old enough to know better yet young enough to not give a fvck...
Realer words couldn't have been spoken. Shouts to Fab... There comes a point in life where you become more self aware, caring less about what others do. You tend to look out for your future. Of course being fly is cool but the latest Jordans become less important compared to the latest countertop or what your 401k looks like. At 19 you sacrifice for the new Polo jacket whereas at 29 you're thinking of colleges and how you can afford them for your five year old.
At this same point in life you stop making fun of your once favorite rapper for being arrested repeatedly and begin praying that he shakes that addiction he has for the life of crime. You begin to donate to the homeless instead of snickering when you walk past. Life changes, that little boy hooping by himself... you pass the ball to him and take him under your wing.
Everyone doesn't hit this pinnacle at the same time. Friends can become strangers if one gets to this point before the other. Some never grow into this but instead are stuck in their second and third childhood. Guess they can't get that shallow sh!t off of them, Pray for them...
